9.4.4. SHOW CHARACTER SET

O comando SHOW CHARACTER SET exibe todos os conjunto de caracteres dsiponíveis. Ele aceita uma cláusula LIKE opcional que indica qual nome de conjunto de caracteres coincidir.

Por exemplo: 

mysql> SHOW CHARACTER SET LIKE 'latin%';
