Security vulnerabilities in MySQL resolved MySQL AB announced on Thu, 12 Dec 2002 the availability of MySQL 3.23.54. Apart from fixing several bugs, this release also resolves multiple security vulnerabilities that have been found and reported to us by Stefan Esser from e-matters GmbH, Germany. All users of MySQL 3.23 are advised to upgrade to version 3.23.54. MySQL 4.0 is also affected by this and updated binary packages will be made available shortly.
