• MySQL Box Is Now Available
  We have created MySQL box that contains a CD with MySQL Software and the printed manual from O'Reilly.
   
• MySQL 3.23.57 Released
  MySQL 3.23.57, a new version of the popular Open Source/Free Software Database, has been released. It is now available in source and binary form for a number of platforms from our download pages at http://www.mysql.com/downloads/ (http://www.mysql.com/downloads/)

• How to Select the Best Query Candidates for Optimization
  If your application executes several different queries, changes are, that one or two of the queries might be slowing the total query log, because they are not properly optimized. But there is a way, how you can find out, which queries need optimization.
   
• How to Monitor and Speed up 'LOAD DATA INFILE' with InnoDB
  The loading of large data sets in InnoDB table may be complex. Here are some hints how to maximize performance, when using the LOAD DATA INFILE with InnoDB tables.

  MySQL again will be exhibiting as well as giving various presentations and workshops at LinuxTag in Karlsruhe, Germany. MySQL speakers are Kaj Arnö, Werner Stürenburg, Arjen Lentz, Alexander Keremidarski and Sergei Golubchik. LinuxTag, the largest Linux and Open Source fair in Europe, takes place from 10. - 13. July at the Messe- und Kongeßzentrum Karlsruhe.

  Just in the middle of the LinuxTag event the international MySQL, SAP DB and PHP user group meeting takes place in Karlsruhe, Germany. Enjoy free speech and free beer with MySQL and PHP developers.
