Starting from January, 2003, official tech support from MySQL AB is also available to German-speaking customers. This is offered at no extra cost - all support customers are free to choose the language of their choice. German language support is available both by e-mail and phone. Prices and service levels are the same as for our predominate English-language support.
However German support differs from our English-speaking support in two ways. First phone support is not available 24x7, but only during the normal office hours. Second, if for any reason a tech problem needs escalation to our senior staff, its handling must switch to English.
