File sharing offers a hierarchical view of a file repository similar to the file system provided by the operating system. The default repository is the file system and allows adding a repository.
Through this hierarchical view, you can browse the repository, download files, upload files, create folders, delete and rename files and folders, and copy and move files and folders. All of your interactions are done through this portlet.
The File Sharing portlet is hosted within a community and it can be accessed by authenticated users.
The File Sharing feature allows you to do the following:
To Sort Files in a FolderEnter the folder name in the Look In field.
If there is a subfolder, enter the subfolder name preceded by a slash. For example, /folder/subfolder.
