The Sun Mainframe Administration Tool can be invoked as follows:

Solaris / UNIX platforms

Method 1

Ensure that Java 1.4.0 or later is on your PATH

Run the sunmat shell script found in the bin directory of the product installation.

Method 2

Ensure that Java 1.4.0 or later is on your PATH

Run the executable JAR file found in the lib directory of the product installation. This can be done by changing to this directory and then typing:

java -jar sunmat.jar

Microsoft Windows Platforms

Method 1

Use the Windows 'Start' button:

Start->Programs->Sun MAT 1.0.0->Administration Tool

Method 2

Run the sunmat.exe program found in the bin directory of the product installation

Method 3

Ensure that Java 1.4.0 or later is on your PATH

Run the executable JAR file found in the lib directory of the product installation. This can be done by changing to this directory and then typing:

java -jar sunmat.jar
