This has been seen after applying patch 5.0-009. If patch 5.0-009 has been added to a system with >1 client and >1 device configured, nwadmin will error with "Server is disabled Too many devices". When a system has been changed to a Single Server, the server is reset to default resources, disallowing new resources to be created, removes custom resources, and may disable the server. o Nsrim taxes the system at service-startup time due to auto-purging of large indexes. 4114750 Nsrd core dumps at the start of backing up a remote client with savegrp or save. The client doesn't have the proper aliases configured. o Receiving the message "nsrindexd: Warning:/usr/nsr/index/client/db missing file sr". This occurs when the system has a low number of open file descriptors. o Running jb_config on a storage node causes nsrd to core dump on a SBU server when the media path is prompted. o Savegrp is unable to backup >27 save sessions in parallel and receives the error "savegrp: Couldn't create log file /nsr/tmp/sg.grp_name.srvr_name.(xxxxx for client backup". This has been addressed on AIX and HP platforms. o Nsrstage or savegrp fails on a file type device when the seek reaches 2.3GB - 3GB. Errors reported by nsrstage or savegrp: nsrd: media info: cannot seek to record 'xxx' file 'yyy' on /file_type: Invalid argument or nsrd: media: info: cannot seek on /file_type: Invalid argument 4137841 Unable to configure a SILO with jb_config after installing Patch 5.0-009. Jb_config fails with: jb_config: error, Unknown error There appears to be something incorrect about your jukebox installation. Please consult your device's documentation to help you troubleshoot your installation. o The relabeling of a jukebox tape fails with the error: nsrd: media alert event: Jukebox 'name' failed update handler got seq. number 'xxx', should be 'yyy' (from 105658-04) bad patch (from 105658-03) (from 105658-02) (from 105658-01) Patch Installation Instructions: -------------------------------- Refer to the Install.info file for instructions on using the generic 'installpatch' and 'backoutpatch' scripts provided with each patch.
