================================== || GameSave Manager 2.2 || || Known Issues || ================================== Issue 1: -------- If you are on Windows Vista or Windows Seven and have "UAC" enabled (User Account Control), restoring may fail for some games. It is therefore recommended to disable the "UAC" service when using GameSave Manager. Issue 2: -------- Backup Archives created by v1.x that use encryption aren't compatible with v2.x. There are no plans to address this at this time. Please note that you can still download the last v1.x release made from our Download section - http://www.gamesave-manager.com/?s=download&t=archive Issue 3: -------- When multiple instances of GameSave Manager are open, the program intends to either crash or throw up a load of errors. It is therefore recommended that you keep the "Check for Multiple Instances" option ENABLED. Issue 4: -------- GameSave Manager v2.2 introduces Windows Registry features. In order for you to be able to use this feature, your "Custom Gamesave Entries" database is automatically updated to use the new table structure. If you run an older version of GameSave Manager after this, all your Custom Gamesave Entries will be lost! If you believe you may want / need to run an older version of GameSave Manager AFTER using v2.2 and above, please make a backup of your Custom Gamesave Entries via the "Export" button on the "Program Settings" and "Custom Gamesave Entries" pages. Issue 5: -------- Some users have reported that GameSave Manager claims a Backup Archive is corrupt when they go to restore. It isn't clear what is causing this, but users having this problem usually have large backups (2 gigabytes and above). It's therefore recommended that you keep the "Verify Backup Archives upon creation" option enabled. GameSave Manager will then check all backups made for any issues (by "restoring" all data inside to a temporary directory), allowing you to help prevent save loss.
