Program został przetestowany i działa poprawnie w systemie Windows: 98, 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista. Szczegółowe informacje na ten temat zawiera sekcja Kompatybilność pliku pomocy.

Instalacja jest w pełni automatyczna i odbywa się z użyciem zawartego w archiwum ZIP instalatora (plik Rainbow Folders.exe). W systemach klasy NT (Windows: 2000, XP, 2003, Vista) niezbędne są uprawnienia administratora. Podczas instalacji zostaniesz zapytany o język, który ma być używany w aplikacji. Po zainstalowaniu program można uruchomić korzystając ze skrótu umieszczonego w Menu Start.

Installation is fully automatic, you just have to run the installation program (Rainbow Folders.exe) located in the supplied ZIP archive. You will need administrator privileges under NT-family systems (Windows: 2000, XP, 2003, Vista). During setup process you will be asked to choose language, that will be used in the program. After installation you can run this software using shortcut placed in the Start Menu.
